We think that the dialogue with the artists, then projects and the spaces is essential to build the artistic program of a festival. This belief matches more than ever with this SÂLMON< edition. For this reason, we wanted to give voice to those spaces we are working with. Together, we all co-participate to the city culture to generate a possible debate and ask ourselves out loud what being a “creation space” means here and now, with all the worries this may imply. Somehow we would like that the presentation of each venue in first person could be useful to get its main field of interests, in order to create a potential reflection map about the current practices of cultural management and concerning the cultural city we are living in, which represents the closest point of realization.

 

Therefore we generated these 3 questions with a textual engine, definitely without any obligation of an explicit answer, maybe with the illusion of them being something motivational for the venues presentation. These are questions that nowadays we are asking ourselves, too. It is important to give them an answer, although be it short for festival reasons.
