ISAAK ERDOIZA

Choreographer and interpreter. Masters in Performing Arts and Visual Culture 2016/2017 (ARTEA / UCLM / MNCARS). I do dance training and body studies with artists and pedagogues such as Lisa Nelson, Sofia Neuparth, Idoia Zabaleta, Hisako Horikawa and Blandine Calais-Germain. I have worked and collaborated with Olatz de Andrés (Privolva, Privolva Landing, El Cielo Ahora), Coletivo Qualquer (OVER), Aitana Cordero (Three ways to master a kiss or a twentyfive minute kiss at your neck – Los Besos) and Nazario Díaz (Aporía), among others. Since 2012, I have been organising La Cosa en Casa together with Maia Villot, an encounter with artists from various disciplines who show their work in domestic contexts in the city of Bilbao. I currently participate in P.I.C.A. (Artistic Collective Imagination Program), an intensive program to accompany a group of artists and researchers that takes place in Azala, Vitoria-Gasteiz.

______

MASA takes the symbolic significance of man’s body as a starting point and, putting the focus on it as an element of representations and imaginations, proposes the construction of a complex body, a mass where the individual is diluted in order to become part of an unclassifiable landscape that takes us beyond the body, a journey towards matter.
