Author programme

We are happy to present the SÂLMON< AUTHOR PROGRAMME. This year we have commissioned the artist LAIA ESTRUCH the image of the Festival, in dialogue with the exhibition that she has presented at the Foundation Joan Miró, in the Espai 13. In the translation of the universe to the SÂLMON<’s universe she has been accompanied by the curator Marc Navarro and the designer Sergio Ibañez. The website is again from LA TECLA STUDIO, authors of the digital version of the meeting point with all the information about the Festival. A festival that seeks connections as does its image, full of links to enhance the relationships, discovery and multiplicities of the contemporary scene.

“In‘ Crol ’, the artist Laia Estruch investigates the possibilities of the voice in the aquatic environment. The project, produced by Espai 13 of the Joan Miró Foundation and curated by Marc Navarro Fornós, continues a search focused on bodies of water such as swimming pools, puddles, water troughs or deposits. Together with Sergio Ibañez (from the graphic design studio Setanta), a collaborator of the artist, they have developed a graphic image that combines the pool - the original setting of the project - and a series of mutant and modular structures that combine by adopting different configurations and functions.

Laia Estruch (Barcelona, 1981) is an artist. His work has been exhibited in museums and art centers such as Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Centro Párraga, La Capella or CA2M.
